Photo of Zeola Johnson, taken in the 1950s, in Ebenezer Community, Clarke County, Alabama. Zeola was born August 2, 1929,
to the late Ida Lou Law-Johnson and Clarence Johnson, in Ebenezer Community. She passed away, August 1979, and is buried in
the family church cemetery, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, in Coffeeville. The houses on the photo were built by Zeola and some
of her cousins, after a tornado, lifted their big wood structured home off of it's foundation, in the late 1940s. Those little
wood houses stood up until the early 1990s, and were torn down, to make room for new homes. There is no telling how long they
would have lasted.
