Brother Chester "Cap" Watson

Born December 15, 1903, to the late Mrs. Elizabeth Watson, Mr. Chester "Cap" Watson, a native of Yarbo, Alabama and a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, died Tuesday, March 18, 1986. he was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Citronelle, Alabama. Preceding him in death were his mother, two brothers, Ed Watson and Marshall Watson, Sr., and two sisters, Amie Watson-Hawkins and Flora Watson-Chapman. He leaves to cherish his memory; a loving wife, Mrs. Alma Ramsey-Watson, Citronelle, AL, four step-daughters, Mrs. Ola Mae (George) Johnson, Biloxi, MS, Mrs. Irene (Walter) Aleen, Citronelle, AL, Mrs. Joe Ellen Roberts and Mrs. Jessie Robinson both of Los Angeles, CA. on step-son, Mr. Luther Brown, Chicago, IL, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Flossie Watson of Prichard, AL, other relatives and friends. Services to be held at the Shiloh Baptist Church, Citronelle, Alabama, Saturday, March 22, 1986, 2:00 P.M., Rev. Cleophus Rawls, Officiating. Interment, Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Citronelle, Alabama. Mr. Edenborough "Ed" Watson, Sr.

Ed Watson, Sr. of 435 N. Liberty Ave., a clipper at the American Steel Foundries, for 15 years, died Tuesday, September ? 1957, at 10:45, p. m. at City Hospital. Mr. Watson, 46, was ill, for three months. A resident of Alliance, Ohio for 16 years, Mr. Watson came here from Gilbertown, Alabama, where he was born, February 24, 1911, he was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Graham-Watson and Sidney Harmon, and his grandmother, Clora Campbell. He was a member o the Pinehill Baptist Church in Gilbertown. he is survived by his wife, Annie Bell Nicholson-Watson, four daughters, Annie Ruth Watson, Daisy Lee Watson and Arlynn Watson of the home, and Mrs. Annie Mae Watson-Blue of Alliance, Ohio; three sons, Ed Watson, Jr., David Watson and Aron Watson, a sister, Amie Watson-Hawkins, of Alliance, Ohio, two brothers; Marshall Watson, Sr. of Plateau, Alabama and Chester Watson of Citronelle, Alabama, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m., Saturday at the Second Baptist Church. In charge is Rev. A. B. Adams, Pastor. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p. m. Friday, at the Sibley Funeral Home. Interment will be made in the City Cemetery.

Tyjuan Marcea Boykan

5 days old, of Alliance, died at 8 p.m. Monday at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Arrangements are pending by Sibley-Murray Funeral Home.Born Sept 25, 2002. Died Sept 30, 2002 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, OH. Survivors included his mother, Tiphan Porter, and his father Chezaray Boykin, both of Alliance; paternal grandparents Estina Boykin and Maternal grandmother Arlynn Porter both of Alliance. Sister Eartha Mae Murphy

Eartha Mae Murphy, was born in Bladon Springs, Choctaw County, Alabama, on March 1, 1926, to the late Alberta and Jim Murphy, and departed this life on February 24, 1999 in an Oakland, CA hospital, following a long illness. She confessed Christ at an early age, uniting with the Hopewell Baptist Church of Plateau, Alabama, where she was baptised by Reverend H. P. Williams. She redeived her education at Mobile County, Training School, in Mobile. Eartha was preceded in death by her children, Marilyn Murphy-Gordon (1979), Rosa Mae Murphy and Robert Murphy, her parents, sisters, Nettie Law-Dickinson and Nancy Law-Lassiter, and brothers, Jim Murphy, Jr. and James Law, Jr., Dossie Law and Charlie Law. She leave to cherish her memories, her sons, Archie (Jacquelyn L.) Murphy, of Hayward, Ca., Yasir Rahman and Danny Murphy, both of Oakland, CA; daughters, Janice (Perry) Watts, of Oakland, CA, and Regina Little-Mose of Prichard, AL; three sisters, Flossie Law-Watson of Prichard, AL, Beatrice Law-Jackson of Oakland, CA, and Grace Daw-Horn of Detroit, MI; sixteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, cousins, and a host of okther relatives and friends. Eartha was also the granddaughter of the late Martha Williams-Bumpers, and the great-granddaughter of the late Hannay Williams and John Todd, and the great-great-granddaughter of the lated Celia Todd. Samuel Graham Sr., a truck driver with Baldwin Transfer Co. Inc., died Thursday, July 12, 2001. He was 62, born June 13, 1939 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Graham. Graham was a native of Toxey and a resident of Mobile. Survivors include his wife, Annie Florence Graham of Mobile; three sons, Samuel (Irene) Graham Jr., Lee Anthony (Vernessa) Smith and Timothy (Coronda) Graham, all of Mobile; one daughter, Angelia (Walter) McCants of Mobile; three stepdaughters, Gloria Florence and Sabrina (Jimmie) Culpepper, both of Mobile, and Evelyn Johnson of Savannah, Ga.; two stepsons, Sheron (Leshondra) Florence of Mobile, Evelyn (Carl) Johnson, of Savannah, GA, and Marlon Florence of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; his stepmother, Corine Graham of Atlanta; two sisters, Mary Lee (Ben) Stewart of Toxey, AL, and Ethel Mae Graham of Atlanta; three brothers, Willie Graham of Toxey and Olan (Nettie Lee) Graham of Gilbertown, and Jessie (Annie) Graham of Mobile; 36 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; mother-in-law, Mattie Croskey, Georgianna, AL; uncle, T. Mr. Cleveland "Cleve" Todd

Mr. Cleveland Todd, born in Bladon Springs, Alabama on December 28, 1904, finished the race of life on September 18, 1984. He lived in Mobile most of his life and lived all of his life for people. He truly loved people, especially children. His working life was spent mostly with the International Longshoremen's Association, from which he was medically retired in 1964. Mr. "Cleve" has run the race of life and now the victory is his. He leaves as a memorial to his live, many devoted relatives and devoted friends. Especially he leaves one daughter, Arcola Todd Lucas; one son, Thomas N. Todd; three grandchildren, Frienzett Jones, Traci N. Todd, and Tamara N. Todd; four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, four brothers and a host of other relatives. Services; visitation, Friday night, September 21, 1984, 8:00 P. Born October 18, 1912, to the late Carrie Williams-Koen, Mrs. Mary Campbell Hayes, a native of Bladon Spring, Alabama and a native of Mobile, Alabama, passed away, Tuesday, March 21, 1978, at a local hospital. She was a member of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church No. 2 and a member of While Lily Chapter No. 34 of the Eastern Star. Brother Marzett Hawkins, Sr.

Marzett Hawkins, Sr., age 60, of 11340 Webb Ave. N. E., died at Molly Stark Hospital at 9:30 A.M., Monday following a one year illness. Mr. Hawkins, was born in Gilbertown, AL, October 3, 1921, to the late Annie Watson-Hawkins and Rail Hawkins, and had lived in Alliance, Ohio for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother, Elizabeth Graham-Watson, his great-grandmother, Clora Campbell, and great-grandfather, Edinborough Graham, and his great-great-grandparents, Celia and Pry Campbell, two uncles, Marshall Watson, Sr. and Ed Watson, Sr., an aunt, Flora Watson-Chapman, a great aunt, Josephine Campbell-Kirksey and a great uncle, Isaac Campbell.A U. S. Army Veteran of World War II, he was retired from Babrock and Wilcox Tubular Products, where he was employed as a loader in the finishing department. Surving are his wife Alberta Kirksey-Hawkins; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Kathy) Dailey of Alliance, Amy and Ariane Both of the home, a son, Marzett Hawkins, Jr., of the home, a sister, Nettie Mae Hawkins of Louisville, KY, a brother, Bryant oung of Akron, OH and two grandchilren and an uncle, Chester Watson of Citronelle, AL. Servieces will be held at 1 p. m. Friday at Noble Street Church of God in Christ, with Elder David Howard of the Holy Temple Church of God in Christ officiating. Sister Addie B. Bell

Services for Addie B. Bell are at 11AM Saturday at Tabernecle Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will be in Alliance City Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11AM Saturday ath the Church (obituary dated Thursday, March 23, 2000). Mrs. Bell, 91, of Alliance, died at 6:35PM, Tuesday at McCrea Manor Nursing Center, following an extended illness. A resident of the Alliance area for 60 years, she was born in Toxey, Ala, Feb. 3, 1919. She was a charter member of the church and member of the church's Mission Board. She was also a member of the Court of Colonthe and Order of Eastern Star. Her hobbies were fishing, cooking and studingy the Bible. Surviving are a great nephe, James Terrell, of Hinesville, GA, who took care of her for many years, and a grandchild and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, LePare Bell; her parents, Aaron and Henrietta Graham; a sister, Nettie Davis; and four brothers, Simmie, Jack, Alonzo and Tom Graham. Friends will also be received at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Donel Terrell, 548 S. Seneca Ave. Arrangements are by SIBLEY-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, (3-23-00). The announcement left out her son the lated Alph Young from Dayton, OH, who preceded her in death, (died about 1994), and he was really close to his mother.

Brother E. W. Dunagan

Born September 29, 1907 in Toxey, Alabama to the late Margie Catherine Graham-Dunagan and Alonzo Dunagan, died Saturday, August 10, 1996, in Alliance, Stark County, Ohio. Resided in Alliance more than 55 years. Proceded in death by his wife Lela in 1973, a brother, Edinborough Dunagan and two sisters, Flora Hair an Ilover Sims. He was the grandson of the late Edinborough and Winny Graham, of Choctaw County, Alabama and Hannah York-Dunagan and Tony Dunagan of Coffeeville, Clarke County, Alabama. He was also the great-grandson of the late Anna Dunagan of Coffeeville, AL. He leave to cherish his memories, a multitude of friends and relatives in Ohio and Alabama.

Mrs. Ruth Reeves

A native of Bladen Springs, AL, born November 9, 1912. She was a resident of Mobile, AL f or over fifty years. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kohnes. M rs. Reeves passed at a local hospital on Thursday, D ecember 28, 2000. Alton (Linda) Merrell and Betty (Merrell) (Elder Melvin) Howard Sr. both of Warren; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two aunts, Wilma Bradford of Akron and Ann Adams of Alliance.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Fred Kirksey and Earl Dunagan; one brother Joseph Kirksey; and one sister, Kathryn Paul.

Born June 1, 1920 in Gilberttown, AL and a resident of Mobile, AL, passed peacefully on September 4, 2002. He was a member of the Greater Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church #2 under the leadership of Pastor Hubert Baker, and where he served faithfully in the Male & Senior Chorus. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of over 60 years, Sis. Mary Ann Lewis.
